Welp, Random transfers! Well, I just didnt tink that I would get transfered and I did. It still doesnt feel real, and they were weird this transfer because they were this morning, on Pday. So I am here in the area "Brisas" (you say it like breezas) in the port of veracruz. I am with Hermana Korzeniowski, she is from Florida! I hardley know her up to this point but she seems super cool and I am excited to work hard. It was really hard to leave Hermana Dearden because I love her so much, she is fantastic, but I know the lords plans are better than ours.
The other day, she and I had a memeber come with us to some lessons. Actually, I think I talked about this memeber last week, Margarita or "mago". She shared an expierence that impacted me a lot. We were sharing about the Atonement, and the spirit was really powerful. Then Mago presented a situation that I really loved. She asked us to think of the love that we felt towards Jesus Chirst for what he did for us. To think of how it made us feel and the influence it had on our families and loved ones. Then she asked us a question that made me really think. She asked to imagine what we would do if God asked us to do pass through what Christ passed through. It really made me think.
Christ was willing from the beginning to save us. He gave us the way, and by not commiting sin, showed us how we could do it. Even though it was the most difficult thing that has ever been done or ever been done, He did it. He did it for me and for you. I know that no one else could have done it. He was capable, because He is the most like God. I know that because of Him and only through Him can we overcome not only the fear of death, but death itself. That we will all be resurrected. I also know that just by doing this does not mean that we will be able to enter into Gods kingdom. We have to be perfect. But we are not, and that is another reason why his saving and healing power is the only way. We can be free from all sin, error weakness and all things wicked if we will just look to Him! Open up our hearts and accept Him! I have really seen that happen to people here and I know that God answered my question that I needed to come on a mission for many reasons, but the main one being the knowledge (person and for others) of the saving, healing and changing power of Christ and His Atonement. He has changed many that I have met. He has changed me. We just have to let Him.
In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Well, first of all, this is going to be a crazy email because I have no idea what kind of direction I am going to go with it. But I feel like it will be good because this week was really good. It has been really long, I can't believe that monday I just had transfers. I ca't believe it has only been a week. Crazy.
Okay so this time has just gone by so fast and I am actually in the offices writing this week because we came to get shoes for my comp in the centro and we ran into the couple missionaries! the companionship Willingham. They invited us to go eat with them, and we went and had hamburgers in a rock cafe, it was actually really cool, they know a lot about music and told us some cool stories about J. Golden Kimball- the swearing apostle. (mom, I think you would love to know more about him). They just pretty much adopted us, they work here in the offices, and invited us to come back and write our families here. They are so great!!
I got the christmas package! a little one and a bigger one with the stocking! I love you guys!
So this week, we had a confrence with the area presidente, Elder De Hoyos. We really reciveved so much from that, something amazing is that changes are constant. If we want to keep up with the Lords work, we have to step up the pace. We can´t just conform with the way we get comfortable, the work can´t be something comfortable. It is hard, it is always in need of a better way. We have to be active. We are called to change, every day. There is no falling into a system, because God always has a better way. But to find that way, we have to try it. We have to re-mold ourselves, not just fit ourselves to the mold. That is how we become perfected in Christ, we try something new, follow our impressions and be always willing to change.
God trusted us. We have hard moments, but that is when we have to remember that we are His children. He made us. The way of the Lord is not our way. His is higher than ours, and we our the ones who open up our minds to the capacity to be something better.
We have to increase our faith, because God knows who we are and our potencial, we just have to inline our vision with His.
I love you all.
Remember that faith cannot be passive. We have to act.

It have been a long week, but good totoally comes even when it is rough times. We have been working with a young single mother whos name is Marisa. She is so great. She basically came into this without any knowledge of who God really is or what religion is or anything. She has been coming to church and reading the Book of Mormon and everything. It has been great to teach her.
Yesterday the stake president talked in church and let us all know that after the mission we should be getting married, so that was scary. But he also talked about being converted and how cool Matthew 10 is, and it really is. Jesus Christ really loves us and is the only way.
We have been wokring with goals and plans to become better people. Sometimes it is overwhelming that we always have to be changing, but it is really amazing, because someday we will get there, and God is proud of the people we are becoming.
I didnt write much today, but I love you lots,
Hermana Jensen
Hey guys! It's me again, just like it is every week. Hope you are all ready.
17 Thus, having been converted to the Lord, and neverhaving made it known, therefore, when she saw that allthe servants of Lamoni had fallen to the earth, and also hermistress, the queen, and the king, and Ammon layprostrate upon the earth, she knew that it was the powerof God; and supposing that this opportunity, by makingknown unto the people what had happened among them, that by beholding this scene it would cause them to believein the power of God, therefore she ran forth from house tohouse, making it known unto the people."
So this sunday, I talked in church. Man was it horrible. Seriously, I was so nervous because I am new in the ward and it has been some time since I have talked. I had lots of good ideas, but I just could not get my point across. But, that already happened and I figure that if I couldnt quite get it across at that point that at least someone should be able to benefit from what I learned.
I had studied this week for some reason the story of the woman at the well. If you know me, you know that I really do like that story. But there are things that I hadn't really noticed before, or that I had forgotten.
(john 4) So Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well and asks her for water. Then he tells her about the things that happened in her life. He also lets her know that the things in her life will not satisfy her like the gospel will.

"13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
By telling her this, she recognized that he was something more than just a man, and asked Him, hinting that He could be Christ, and He confirmed that, letting her know "I that speak unto the am he"
What really gets me here is this part,
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
By telling her this, she recognized that he was something more than just a man, and asked Him, hinting that He could be Christ, and He confirmed that, letting her know "I that speak unto the am he"
What really gets me here is this part,
" 28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her wayinto the city, and saith to the men,
29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever Idid: is not this the Christ?
30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him."
29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever Idid: is not this the Christ?
30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him."
She went and told everyone about it! She Had a spiritual expierence worth sharing, and used her testimony for others to come to know what she knew
"39 ¶And many of the Samaritans of that city believed onhim for the saying of the woman, which testified, He toldme all that ever I did.
40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, theybesought him that he would tarry with them: and heabode there two days.
41 And many more believed because of his own word;
42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world."

We cannot force others into having a testimony. All that we can really do is invite them, and they can come to the knowledge themselves. The Samaritans based their testimonies off of that of one woman, a woman that probably was not thought that highly of, having had serveral husbands and living with someone who wasnt- Just a normal woman from the well. It reminds me of another story that I love, that I have studied lately, but in the Book of Mormon.
King Lamoni and His wife and all of his servants had like their first really spiritual expierence...(alma 19)
"16 And it came to pass that they did call on the name ofthe Lord, in their might, even until they had all fallen tothe earth, save it were one of the Lamanitish women, whose name was Abish, she having been converted untothe Lord for many years, on account of a remarkablevision of her father—17 Thus, having been converted to the Lord, and neverhaving made it known, therefore, when she saw that allthe servants of Lamoni had fallen to the earth, and also hermistress, the queen, and the king, and Ammon layprostrate upon the earth, she knew that it was the powerof God; and supposing that this opportunity, by makingknown unto the people what had happened among them, that by beholding this scene it would cause them to believein the power of God, therefore she ran forth from house tohouse, making it known unto the people."
SHE RAN and told everyone what happened. House to house, taking advantage of the situaltion, regonizing the chance to share the gospel.
I admire these women, even though they might have seemed like someone small on the sidelines, they made a huge difference in the lives of many. Later in both of the stories, it mentions that many of those who listened where converted becuase of the small testimony of these women.
We should all be like them! Sharing the gospel. Having spiritual expierences and wanting to share them with as many as possible. People will build from our testimonies until they find theres. It reminds meof a talk by Elder Holland, you should all watch it-
I love you all and know that we are imperfect, but that God wants us to feel love. and he wants us to share it.
