[From left to right.]
The girls in our district!
 Hermana Shinglton, Hermana Jensen,
 Hermana Terry, Hermana Ledek
So I know you don't know when my p-day is, but it's today!! YAY! [Saturday]
Gah I have so much to tell you I just can't even start, but I need to because I have an hour. At least you all gave me tons of time to write ;) The MTC is a crazy wonderful place full of people who love missionaries!! Every time someone talks to me I feel like they are very excited and willing to help! Spanish is fun, and super hard, BUT I am loving it! Mi companioro [compañera] es Hermana Shingleton and she is amazing!! We got here on the same day, if you didn't know that they put newbies together. She is really fast at catching on to spanish and it helps me because I always have someone to ask questions! She is from Gallatin, Missouri. She loves to sing about everything and she is HATES RUNNING (moy [muy] perfecto mama, no?) I know I probably don't write things right in spanish, but I am not going to stop because I have to learn somehow!

So if you don't know this about the MTC, then you should. You are in classes ALL DAY YET. Your whole day is planned out. Which is great for me, but also means no nap time. I could seriously use a nap. When I first got here on Wednesday, it was like I was going through an assembly line. Go here, get your books get on a bus, put your stuff in your rooms now go to class! Where the teacher only speaks Spanish. AH! It was insane because I seriously have pretty much no experience, but based on how much I have grown I have some seriously high hopes for myself. I know that I am meant to do this! We live here on West campus, which consists of raintree and ...y-view? [Wyview] no say. I live in Y-view, my classroom is in Raintree. Mostly, Raintree is just classrooms now. There are a few people living [T]here so I here.

My district consists of my companion and I, Hermana Ledek and Hermana Terry that share our apartment, and a trio of elders: Elder Brown, Elder Robertson and Elder Goodman. Elder Goodman is from Lehi, and says he knows the Busks and The Smiths, just FYI. They are all AMAZING. I love my district, and my zone is really cool too! The west campus is all Spanish speaking, and pretty much everyone is going to Mexico. It is super cool because they just speak spanish all the time. I am learning because of that.

I seriously don't know how I have absorbed so much information in the passed few days, but somehow, I have. We have one investigator and she speaks only English [Spanish]. That was crazy, I had no idea that they would throw us in like that. Our fist lesson was insane because I had to try and talk to her in a language that I can't really understand. But it went really well, because my companion is super good. But then we asked her if she would read the first chapter of the Book of Mormon and she asked all about that and I had no idea what she was saying and Herman Shingleton DID AWESOME and explained that it was about when Christ came to the Americas and it was translated by Joseph Smith and everything and then she said she would read the first chapter! But then we didn't have one to give to her.. so who knows what happened there because where is the line on "these are your investigators" vs "these are members that a very convincing".

Time has been one of the craziest concepts here. Mostly, because we don't have any. They keep telling me that missionaries make time and I keep hoping that they will send me to the factory where this happens ;). We are given so many challenges and opportunities and things to study with very little time to do any of that because like I said, class time all the time. I am sure I will catch onto that.

My Branch presidency is AMAZING! They are such loving people, it is like a bunch of Grandma Roundys- They just RADIATE the spirit and their love for this. I keep thinking, thousands of missionaries come into this place all the time and yet all of these people don't get warn out or burnt up. They love us constantly and always have something amazing to share with us. I learn so much from everyone- including the missionaries.

I have seen Elder Thornley, (who I accidentally called sister because it was 7am and I don't know Spanish) and Elder Bradley, who like broke his foot or something. Probably just sprained. (not super serious, but he has crutches)  I was laughing so hard because of how typical it was for him. And he thinks I am bad luck, HAH.

One of the sisters who has been here for like 3 weeks told me about a talk by Tad Callister called "being a consecrated missionary"  and I would love it if my familia would send me a copy of that, if at all possible. Also everyone- read it. It is amazing!

Mostly- I am very happy here. When I am worried or nervous, I have people who love me all around me to help me. it is a beautiful thing.
