So the title of this blog is Apariciones de Luz which at this point I cannot even pronounce, but my brother speaks Spanish, so he helped me translate. It means "Visions of Light". The reason that I named it this is because it helps me remember that there is always a light there for us, the light of Christ. Even in the darkest times, we can find that light- because it dwells inside of us. Even though I know that I will have hard times on my mission, I also know that I can learn from them, and help me be thankful for the good times. I see the light, and I know that I am working to bring that light to others.
"Isn’t it wonderful to know that we don’t have to be perfect to experience the blessings and gifts of our Heavenly Father? We don’t have to wait to cross the finish line to receive God’s blessings. In fact, the heavens begin to part and the blessings of heaven begin to distill upon us with the very first steps we take toward the light." The Hope of God’s Light BY PRESIDENT DIETER F. UCHTDORF Second Counselor in the First Presidency
